The Facilities

It's the little things that make us, us

Not just a dance studio... an EXPERIENCE

This sums up the service and facilities you will enjoy at the Karen Hardy Studios. Everything has been looked into from air-conditioned studios to a Starbucks coffee bar.

Most people attending a class in the early days will find themselves really quite nervous when it comes to stepping onto the dance floor.

We took all that into account and felt we wanted to offer you more than just a place to learn to dance, that's why our facilities include a licensed bar and Starbucks coffee area for you to sit back, relax and enjoy a drink before you take to the dance floor.

Reception & Lounge Area

A luxurious and glamorous area will greet you as you walk through the doors of Karen Hardy Studios. From the Swarovski encrusted front door handles and chandeliers to a touch of crystal diamonds embedded in the décor.

This is something Karen has been passionate about for so long that she has ensured a sense of class and style with a classic modern feel will greet her clients. Every last detail has been thought of - even a plasma screen showing magic moments from the series of Strictly Come Dancing to current dance championship events from around the world.

The rich and sumptuous interiors offer a sense of occasion whilst maintaining a hint of Chelsea sophistication. This waterfront venue supports a sense of suburban living during the day, whilst by night the lights will dim, the music will lift and a sense of intimacy will come to the venue, the perfect place to sip a delicious glass of champagne before taking to the dance floor and dancing the night away.

Broadband Internet Access

Wireless internet access has been installed to allow working parents or the business man/woman needing to keep in touch with work whilst he/she is out to play. Our customers' needs have all been catered for, allowing you the most enjoyable opportunities on the dance floor.

Wine Bar & Coffee Shop

Customer's comfort and ease before embarking on a lesson has not been overlooked with the inclusion of a wine and coffee bar. With wines chosen for their excellence by renowned Sommelier Eve, bringing exciting boutique wines from around the world.

All wines and champagnes have been chosen by blind tasting with only the very best products making the list.

It may simply take a coffee for some to ease themselves onto the dance floor. What better way to enjoy the aromas of coffee than with the excellence of Starbucks coffee. Enjoy that early morning wakeup kick before a Pilate’s class or a gentle relaxing Earl Grey tea before your Fred Astaire moves are brought to the dance floor.

For the children there is, of course, the Frappuccino specials from the Starbucks bar right the way up to orange juices, waters and milkshakes.

Studios

Two mirrored studios with adjacent floor to ceiling windows lift the studio ambience, offering a bright and breath taking location for you to dance by the waterfront of Chelsea. Stunning maple sprung flooring has been laid throughout forming one of the most essential parts of the studio, with simple yet modest mood making lighting and an excellent sound system to ensure that luxurious finish throughout.

Sliding doors have been erected to partition off the third studio for corporate or private events. However, come party nights the wall will be pulled back to enjoy the full energy in the room with lights, music and dance to set the night on fire.

Underground Parking

Imperial Wharf offers sought-after parking space and it is situated directly under the studio. So, whether it is pouring with rain and you don’t want your Jimmy Choos ruined or you simply want to enter the studio unnoticed then this is perfect.
