Karen’s philosophy is quite simple; "If you are willing to learn you will improve. The most important rule of all is that 'practice makes perfect'.
"I insist on all students dedicating a large proportion of their training to practice. As it is only here that I believe the true dancer is found. The role of a teacher/coach is to help point a dancer in a direction. It is then up to the dancer to take that journey and find their own style of dance which will move them closer to their goals. Every champion brings something new to our business, no champion will ever be a copy of what has been before."
During this Strictly Come Dancing season, our very own Karen Hardy is the host of BBC's Red Button Commentary live every Saturday night. If you have never pushed the red button before then now is your chance! Click away and enjoy Karen's comments on the dancing along with her surprise celebrity guest each week.
Karen is also appearing as BBC2's 'It Takes Two''s resident choreography expert, giving information and inside tips on each celebrity's past performance during the weekend.
Conrad Murray is the co-owner of the studio and husband to Karen Hardy. In addition to being a former amateur dance champion, he works as an IT Contractor in London and is a veteran of the Surrey Rugby League.
